Restaurant Review

I forgot posting about the restaurant where I went.

I went to La Fee Delice with Kaoru. This is the restaurant which recommends French galettes.


The restaurant is near AGU, and we can go there on foot. It’s not difficult to find the restaurant because there are many signboards of galettes in front of it. The surrounding of the restaurant is very fashionable. It looks like a house in Europe. There are also a lot of fashionable shops and cafes near the restaurant.

 
The decoration is also very nice! There are many cute pictures, small articles related to food and France, and furniture.


The menu was written in Japanese and French. There are around 5 kinds of galettes, some a la cartes (salad, soup and so on), many kinds of desserts and beverages. I think the prices of them are a little high for lunch. However, we can add and choose toppings for galettes. It cost just ¥250 and we can enjoy various tastes.
 

I ordered the galette made with tomatoes, anchovy and basils. I was surprised that it took just about 5 minutes after we ordered. I think it is very fast! Of course, the taste was great. The smell was nice and the edge of it was crispy. When we ate it, we use a knife and a fork. After we ate the galette, we shared the crape for dessert. We chose the caramel banana crape.

 
As I said, the decoration of the restaurant and atmosphere were very fashionable. We can enjoy before we eat dishes. According to the site of this restaurant, we are able to take out food and prepare birthday surprise. I would like to hold the birthday party for my friends here.

How was your winter holiday?
I enjoyed Christmas with friends, but after that, I had a fever.

・What is the writing atyle of the review ?
 
 I think the first half of the writing is reviewer's opinion about Sunday lunch. I felt the lunch for holiday is greatly important for the reviewer. The reviewer has a strong preference for the view from the restaurant, location, quality and price of the dishes. In the first half, there were a little difficult words for me. However, reviewer's impression of the restaurant was simple and easy to understand.


・Based on the review, would you like to try this resutaurant?
 
 I thought I want to go to this restaurant, because the reviewer recommended there and I would like to have a relaxed weekend for lunch. The reviewer said the price of dishes were reasonable and taste was good! I want to eat Vitello tonnato which the reviewer recommended. It sounded like very tasty.

・What is focused on in the review?
 
 The reviewer told good points of the restaurant, then she told bad things. I thoght she evaluated the restaurant objectively. I felt she focused on whether customers want to go to this restaurant again. She evaluated about the service, quality, price and so on.


・What criticisms do you have of the video, either concerning the professionalism, production quality or the content?
  
 
   I thought it was good for us that the video has BGM and it was easy for us to understand her evaluation of the restaurant, because she told both of good points and bad points. I felt I wanted to know more dishes in this restaurant. I think Istanbul's food is not so popular in the world, and I also don't know the detail of them. Moreover, I felt there were a few visual of the restaurant and food.

Introduction of the short video

I'll introduce the video which is related to the book I read.


I think this video tell us how to get food and how to share food.
The food we eat is related to a lot of countries.
In this video, there are some serious scenes, but we need to know them.

NeverSeconds

Hi! How are you doing?
I enjoyed new style fondue, last week.
It was "Olive oil Fondue"!! Do you know about this??

It was great!! We can enjoy many kinds of vegetable.

By the way, I would like to introduce "NeverSeconds".
I was surprised that the writer was just 10 years girl and she kept positing.
Her English is very easy to understand and clearly.
She wrote about many countries' school lunches.
 
I enjoyed the differences of  school lunch.
I think it is one of the good chance to know them.
My impression of other countries' lunch was very simple.
Many countries' have just main dish and some fruits.
I think japanese school lunch's valance of nutrition is very high.
When I was a elementaly school student, I ate school lunch.
There were many kinds of food in one plate.
I really liked curry and fruit punch.
 
I think dining facilities at AGU is also good.
There are many kinds of dish and we can choose what I want to eat.
However, dining space is very crowded everyday!
We have few seats when we go there at the lunch time.
I want to have more spaces to eat.
 
I think trade system is one of the most complex problems in the world.
In my image, developed countries export food to developed countries.
And also, there are tax problems.
It is difficult for us to solve these food problem,
but I think we need to know the food conditions in the world.

Analyzing a Food Blog

Hello! How are you doing?
It's getting cold.  Be careful not to catch a cold!!

Today, I'll introduce nice blog!
The blog is written by Michelle.
She is a baker and a photographer.

*Quality
I was surpised that the blog's quality was high. She introduced many sweets she baked. There were a lot of beautiful pictures.  I think everyone can enjoy the blog because all of photos looked very delicious. We can enjoy just looking them! Also, she wrote the detail of recipes and there were some words linked to other sites. We can learn something from them.

*Usefullness
In the right side of her blog, we can see the name of sweet she bake and introduce. So, it is easy for us to find sweets we want to know. The recipes she wrote will help when we decide to bake same sweets. She wrote some points and problems which may happen when we make.

*Visual attractiveness
As I wrote before, the photos of sweets look very nice!! I think all of them were taken by her, because she said she is a photographer. Sometimes, I take photos of food I ate in restaurants, but I can't take same as her.  Furthermore, I think the style of blog is also nice! It is simple and easy to see.

*Accessibility of the language
She wrote in English.I think the style of her writing is clear and easy to understand.

*How interesting is to you personality
I enjoyed her blog very much!! I often make sweets in weekend, so I will learn from her recipes. Actually, I found some sweets I wanted to make! If I have a chance, I want to take nice photos and introduce sweets I make.

Introduction of my book

Hello! This is the first contribution for me.
I will introduce my book about food.
I chose Food Politics -What Everyone Needs to Know-.
This was written by Robert Paarlberg.

Food Politics: What Everyone Needs to Know

I chose this book, because I wanted to know how to change food cultures and differences of food industry in the world.

In the first section of this book, the circumstances of food was written. There are great differences between rich countries and poor countries. Today, trade ( import and export ) is important in the world. I was surprised that Japan is one of the biggest importers of corn. The world markets are developing fast.  Also, I read that our demanding for food was changing. We want fresh and nutritional food. It is difficult for farmer, and it cause some conflicts between farmers and consumers.

I think we can learn more about some issues of food in the world through this book.
I'll keep reading and write about it in my blog.
